I have not located a single will for a linked Groucott.

Very early on in my investigation of the Groucotts at Baswich I made contact with an Anthony Grouoctt who had been researching the Groucott surname in the Baswich area.

It soon became apparent this his investigations were more detailed than my own, and in particular in the descendents of Peter and Peter's parentage.

I have spent tens of man hours recording the records for Groucotts.

Besides the information I have gathered myself other researchers have generously provided me with data.

There are records of Groucotts in adjacent Parishes to Baswich but before 1800 the records in the Stafford County Records Office, are in for all practical purposes unreadable.
